The growing interest in M2M wired and wireless connectivity has prompted the Solid Sate Supplies Connectivity Division and its partners to organise a connectivity solutions seminar.

Cingular Wireless, Sprint Nextel, and Verizon Wireless Kick Off Second Annual Machine-to-Machine Technology Event
SAN ANTONIO, June 5 /PRNewswire/ — Executives from Cingular Wireless, Verizon Wireless, and Sprint Nextel — the three largest wireless carriers in the United States — will kick off the second annual M2M United conference, held this year in San Antonio, with a morning keynote address on June 27. Numerex Corp. has closed on a $10 million round of financing from the Laurus Master Fund Ltd.
Atlanta-based Numerex (NASDAQ: NMRX) said it will use the funding for general corporate purposes, including possible strategic initiatives. The funding includes a $5 million convertible term note and a $5 million nonconvertible term note. Both notes bear a fixed interest rate of 9.75 percent, have a four-year term and are secured by Numerex’s assets.
