The wireless, battery-operated systems featuring 32″ screens have been installed in Evening Standard sales booths at major “footfall” sites, including Euston Station, Fenchurch Street, Farringdon and Waterloo, as part of a major programme of improvements to the paper’s street presence.

The supplier, Comtech M2M (machine-to-machine), has also signed a contract for an indoor version of the “Extra!” system with Newsquest, to maximise on “queue dwell times” at newsagents.
